| Jon Plume - Captain and pilot of the Quick Draw and a rarity perhaps in a rough and tumble frontier, Captain Plume had a clearly defined moral code - "You have to live with what you do, so only do what you can live with." Made it harder to survive, but he and his crew thrived by being a ship that people knew they could trust. He grew up on St.Albans, and the harsh environment taught him to be able to survive on his own and the community taught him he didn't have to. Self trained in about everything he did, he still managed to be one of the best at whatever he decided he needed to be good at. He views himself at his core, as a throwback to the old stories of when men navigated the open ocean and honor was the only thing that a man could truly count as his own.

| Allan Lin - Security and First Mate on the Quick Draw, and all around jack of all trades. "Be ever vigilant, because the wolf is always at the door." Some people might describe Allan as paranoid, but that would be a harsh way of viewing him. Growing up on Ezra might do that to a man. However you define it, he certainly was a cautious man and always on the alert, which made him well suited for security aboard the Quick Draw, a ship that had gained more than its share of people to be cautious of during its various flights.

| Quinn Monahan - Originally from Londinum, Quinn never talked about his past much. He'd say he was a Christian, and he lived by that, for the most part, but he'd be the kind of Christian who was sure that reckoning day was right around the corner, so there wasn't much purpose in getting excited about anything. He served as a medic (but not a doctor), cook, and supply officer. In addition to that, he often served as the frontman for the group on the occasions that they made their way to the Core planets.

| Delphinia Duke's now the mechanic on the Mao's Claw, but before that she spent years with the crew of the Quick Draw, serving as the mechanic and the one woman that Captain Plume, who upon occasion fell back on old naval customs, felt was required aboard any vessel roaming the black. Happy and cheerful, she served as a counterpoint to the pessimistic Quinn and overly serious Allan. She and Allan fell in love a year into her joining the crew.

| Corky Dalton wasn't orginally part of the Quick Draw crew but was, instead, assigned by Independent Command as a liaison. His job was to watch out for browncoat interests and help the crew work their way through browncoat red tape when needed. His skills as an experienced smuggler helped out, too.
