Nicholai Prach’s grandmother always told him his ancestors were ice giants. He never believed her until the day he turned blue and began generating cold. A soldier in the Soviet army, Nicholai was on the front line that day and the eruption of his powers saved his unit. As soon as command found out what he could do, he was assigned to the People’s Heroes. Decades later, Nicholai would die while rescuing school children being held hostage by terrorists.
