History
James Fielding operated as an intelligence officer inside the United States, ferreting out spies. He thought he was on the trail of normal 5th columnists but, instead, he stumbled across a cult of vampires. They attempted to turn him but were interrupted by the arrival of his partner. James was left trapped between life and living death. He gained unique powers, though not all those vampires possessed, and the need to drink blood. However, he could also walk in the daylight, though holy items repelled him.
